I’ve designed and created a whole bunch of costumes for various theatre shows, including …
I designed and sewed a giant fairy dress for Jack and the Beanstalk (the brief was a skirt as wide as the actress was tall, and I delivered!)

I adapted historical patterns to create a set of 10 lined military jackets and around 30 historical shirts, blouses and skirts for Offenbach’s Grand Duchesse de Gerolstein, as well as various hats, waistcoats and accessories.

I later adapted one of the military jackets to create an Inspector Kemp costume for Young Frankenstein, and also designed and made an Igor costume, including moveable hump (what hump?)

I’ve also created quick change costumes for stage, including an instant magic dungarees-to-wedding-dress transformation for Cinderella, and a comedy ‘dance of the seven veils’ routine for the pantomime dame in Sinbad, involving seven layers of quick changes.
