I was brought on last-minute to paint the set for a large-scale production of Legally Blonde the Musical. Given that I was working full time and only had a few days, I designed a fun, bright and exciting scheme that was possible within the timeframe, particularly for Paulette’s ridiculously 90s-inspired salon. Once the designs were finished I worked mostly on marking out the patterns and the more complex paint effects, while volunteers helped with roller painting the larger flat areas. (thanks everyone!)
